Provisional Diagnosis

Acute Leukemia

Comment / Findings

Blast cells : 80% ; Nucleus round-oval nuclei with coarse chromatin chromatin tends to aggregate into masses . Nucleoli are usually small and inconspicuous . Cytoplasm is basophilic, sparse in volume, usually without granules (rare non-specific granules) .

Final Diagnosis

Picture of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia consistent with L1 for immunophenotyping (Acute Panel).

Additional Note

The patient has been refereed to higher center for further investigations.
