History of fever (41ºC).

Leukocytosis with neutrophilia.

· Most of the neutrophils examined in films had ‘botryoid’ or grape-like nuclei, each with 6 or more lobes, often in wheel-spoke array.

· Also, many lymphocytes exhibited nuclear budding or lobation.

Rare Occasional monocytes appeared binucleate or multi-lobed
