History of mitral valve regurgitation , Estimated EF 15-20%, Left ventricular dilatation.
Patient came to hospital complaining of sore throught and cough 1 week ago with no blood. There was fever that responds to antipyretics.
Patient looks ill.
Chest X-ray show slight mediastinal shift to right side and patches at lower right lung.
WBC: 34.8x103/uL
HGB: 8.1 g/dL
MCV: 103 fL
MCH: 33 pg
MCHC: 32.5 g/dL
Platelet: 41x103/uL
Normal Renal and Liver functionsز
Marked Leukocytosis with blast cells: 82% (Myeloid)
Moderate Macrocytic Normochromic anemia with anisocytosis.
Normoblasts are seen : 1/100 WBC
Severe Thrombocytopnea
A case of Acute Myeloid Leukemia for Immunophenotyping and Cytogentic workup.
Patient was referred to higher center for immunophenotyping and cytogenetic work up.
