Method Comparison Form (Excel Sheet) "Quantitative Tests"

• Hint: 

Method comparison between quantitative laboratory analyzers is required by many accreditation organizations. This form can be used to validate two analyzers with the same method or two analyzers with two different methods.

It is used for quantitative tests (Numerical Results)

40 samples are required. the samples must cover the most of the analytical measurement range. Details are mentioned in the form.

• Indications:

1. At new instrument instillation.

2. New method has been installed for the analyzer.

3. New reagent with new method or modified old method.

4. After changing major piece of the analyzer.

5. After instrument transportation.

6. On regular basis as requested by some accreditation organization.

7. Other indication by facility policy or accreditation standards.

• Instructions for use:

1. Please, First download the form to your PC. 

2. Use only the yellow fields. 

3. Read Specimen and procedure in the form.

4. Many white fields contain formulas. Overwriting , modifying or deleting a white field will damage formula(s).

5. It is not difficult to break the password protection of the form. But once broken, Some formulas are permanently damaged.

• Result interpretation:

Use one or more of of the criteria of acceptability mentioned in page 1 according to your facility policy. However the first 3 criteria are the most important.
