Amended/ Addendum/ Corrected Result Reporting

Hint: Any modification of laboratory result after releasing; must be informed to the concerned department/ Physician immediately. This may change the treating physician decisions. Modification may be in the form of correcting errors, adding new data (e.g. to peripheral smear) or further test results (e.g. CK isoenzyme results for released high total CK result). Documentation of this reporting process is of medicolegal importance. It is required by many accreditation organization.
