HGB electrophoresis by HPLC: HB F: 0.3% , HB A: 50% HB A2: 2.9% , HB S: 35.6%

Positive Sickling test.

HGB A2 is not elevated in this case.

The patient is receiving treatment for sickle cell anemia that was diagnosed in another center 20 years ago.
